6 Things to Do in 1-Day in Vancouver

If you plan to study English language in Canada, the city of Vancouver is an brilliant option. Steveston
Steveston located about 20 minutes from South Vancouver, where the Fraser River meets the Ocean and was once the main fishing port on the west coast. In this historic fishing village, you will find pubs, museums and many restaurants offering wonderful fish dishes.




Richmond
Approximately 20 minutes from Vancouver, Richmond has a large Asian community. As a result, you will find many restaurants serving Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese food. In some parts of the city, you can even find street signs in Mandarin.

The "Royal City" is a quiet town and a neighbour of Burnaby. It has fantastic parks, shopping outlets and several historical shops. Waterfront park is worth a visit. It has  a playground & sports facilities, plus a beautiful boardwalk for fitness & for seeing some great scenic views.




Squamish
The main attraction in this area is the Sky Gondola. It is a walk between two mountains at a height of almost 2000 meters above the ground. At the end of a tour, you can find a trail featuring waterfalls and an unforgettable view. Do not miss the ride to Shannon Falls Provincial Park, where you will find a waterfall that is  335 meters high.




Buntzen Lake
This lake is 42 km away from Vancouver. It is frequently used as a film location due to being so beautiful and it is an ideal place for picnicking and enjoying nature.
