Mackenzie opens to adult learners in brand new premises

This is an exciting transition time for Mackenzie School of English, as it has recently moved to new premises and, building on a great reputation among students and agents alike for its junior programmes, it has now also opened its shiny new doors to adult learners.

The new school building is truly unique. A stunning blend of historic and modern, the traditional stone building has been fully refurbished to offer sleek classrooms and airy communal areas, while carefully maintaining its period character, and some amazing features like an original, round, stained-glass window.

The junior school occupies the first two floors, with a common room (including auditorium/ classroom) and eight large classrooms. The top floor is the new adult school, which includes six large classrooms and a comfortable common area. You can take a virtual look around the new school here.

In the beautiful area of Leith in Scotland, Mackenzie students have the opportunity to study in a vibrant, creative and diverse area, packed with wonderful cafés, cool drinking spots and top restaurants catered by some of Scotland’s finest chefs. And all of this just over a mile from Edinburgh city centre.
