About the school

Wimbledon is a beautiful residential area in south-west London, home to the All-England Club that hosts the world famous Wimbledon tennis tournament.

Wimbledon is a fantastic area of London offering all the facilities you need when studying such as shops, bars/pubs, cafes, gyms, 2 cinemas and a great theatre. It is also only a 20-minute train ride to the very heart of London (the Underground...or Tube as it is known, takes only 25-minutes)

Wimbledon School of English (WSE) is one of the very best English language schools in the UK. It's no surprise that the school received 15/15 strengths in the most recent British Council inspection, and was named top Centre of Excellence by the EL Gazette which reviews language schools in the UK.

WSE is unique. The school is like a town house that welcomes you like your home from home. The staff are like family and the facilities are great. You can use the multimedia self-access study centre, a great library with hundreds of books and over 300 films to rent in English. In your spare time you can enjoy the beautiful WSE garden or cosy common room with widescreen TV, piano, table tennis, snack bar and more.
